Rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel

The attack came during a public holiday in Israel marking the last day of the Jewish festival of Passover

Three rockets were fired into Israel on Monday from the Gaza Strip but caused no causalities, the Israeli army said in a statement reported by Agence France-Presse.

The statement said the projectiles fell in the Negev desert region of southern Israel.

The attack came during a public holiday in Israel marking the last day of the Jewish festival of Passover.
