Saudi iftar project benefits two million Muslims abroad

The project distributes more than 35,000 iftar meals daily during Ramadan

The project of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for providing iftar (fast-breaking meal) to the needy people abroad in Ramadan has benefited more than two million Muslims in 41 countries.

According to the director general for external relations at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Abdul Majeed Al-Amry, the project distributes more than 35,000 iftar meals daily during the holy month.

In a telephone call to the Saudi Press Agency from Buenos Aires, Argentina, he said the meals are mainly distributed inside mosques and Islamic centers.
