Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa has touched down in Saudi Arabia and commended the Saudi king’s initiatives for “sparing the region a lot of risks.”
The Bahraini leader lauded King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud’s efforts “especially in this critical regional situation,” the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Bahraini kind pledged to deepen relations with Saudi Arabia and said: “We are pleased, while arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to express our happiness to meet again with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.”
He added: “Our meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will be an opportunity for the exchange of visions and points of views on the latest developments in the region with the aim of reaching a guaranteeing frameworks, the effective ways to cope with the many threats and different challenges facing our countries, ensuring the promotion of their security, and the consolidation of their stability.”
