Egyptian police has reportedly arrested 29 citizens for sexual harassment since the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

According to Egyptian media, the men were arrested in several areas of the Egyptian capital.

During the three-day Eid Al-Fitr holiday, families commonly celebrate with outings to parks, cinemas, fairs and other public spaces.

A study conducted by the U.N. in 2013 revealed that 99 percent of Egyptian women are victims of harassment in Egypt.
