Over 1,500 mines removed in Syria’s Palmyra
Before being driven out of the ancient Roman-era city in late March, ISIS rigged the city with booby traps
Russian forces have helped remove more than 1.5 thousand mines in the Syrian city of Palmyra since it was taken from ISIS militants by government forces in March, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday.
