Firefighters tackled a huge blaze after seven buses were set alight outside the compound of the Gant construction firm, the Saudi Binladin Group.
Spokesman for the Makkah civil defense Major Nayef al-Sharif said firefighters managed to put out the blaze without any injuries.
Reports suggest the fire was started by employees at the group, who started the blaze in the buses in protest over issues with their employer. The Binladin Group have not commented about the incident.
