Yemeni premier hails Saudi support to his government
Bin Dhager stressed that the Kingdom’s honorable and continuing stand toward Yemen contributed to making the Yemeni army and the popular resistance on the outskirts of Sanaa
Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Dagher has appreciated efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia in supporting the Yemeni government at various political, military, media and relief and humanitarian levels to restore legitimacy to the country and defeat the “coup militias” occupying public institutions.
Bin Dhager stressed that the Kingdom’s honorable and continuing stand toward Yemen contributed to making the Yemeni army and the popular resistance on the outskirts of Sanaa. He hoped that the city will be liberated soon after the national army succeeded, with the support of the coalition forces, in pushing out the aggressors from many provinces and protecting the people of Yemen from the militias loyal to the Houthi militias and former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The Yemeni premier has extended his thanks and appreciation to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman; Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman “for their remarkable deeds and great sacrifices to save the state of Yemen from the coup militias that wreaked havoc and tyranny, devastated the country and killed the innocent people.”
Bin Dhager’s remarks came in a telephone conversation with Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel Al-Turaifi, during which he praised the constructive role by the Ministry of Culture and Information in the Kingdom to support the Yemeni media since the start the Operation Decisive Storm through their embrace of Yemeni government platforms and rebroadcasting them, in addition to resuming the two television channels Yemen and Aden, Sanaa Radio and Yemen News Agency (Saba) in a record time of 48 hours at the start of the crisis after the broadcasts were halted following the brutal aggression and occupation of state institutions by the coup militias.
The prime minister also expressed his government’s thanks and appreciation to Al-Turaifi for the patronage being enjoyed by the Yemeni official media, making a deep impact in the delivery of political and media discourse of the Yemeni leadership and officials to the Yemeni people.
