Israel arrests Palestinians ‘preparing attacks’
Israeli security forces also discovered a workshop for producing explosives, the statement said
Israeli authorities have arrested more than 20 Palestinians accused of being “members of a Hamas cell that was preparing to launch suicide attacks in Israel,” the Shin Bet security service said Thursday.
The cell included four members who had agreed to blow themselves up in Jerusalem, the northern Israeli city of Haifa, and bus stations elsewhere, Shin Bet and the army said in a statement.
Israeli security forces also discovered a workshop for producing explosives, the statement said.
