Three suicide bombers attack police station in Iraq’s Samarra

At least three men are said to have detonated themselves inside the al-Mutawakel police station in the city of Samarra in Saladin

At least seven people are reportedly dead after two suicide bombers stormed and attacked a police station in the Iraqi city of Samarra.

Those three men are said to have detonated themselves inside the al-Mutawakel police station in the city of Samarra located in the govern ate of Saladin, Al Arabiya's correspondent has confirmed.

Other attackers reportedly engaged in a shootout with security forces which ended quickly after the attack was initiated. Iraqi forces are said to have used attack helicopters to end the operation.

A citywide curfew has been imposed as a result of the attack.
