The Yemeni National Army regained control over the Mokhdara region in Serwah in Marib, which was previously controlled by the Houthi and Saleh militias.

The army also made some progress in Jabal Marthad that overlooks Serwah, west of Marib, Al Arabiya reported on Saturday.

A Yemeni military source confirmed that 12 militants were killed and others were injured in the attack led by the national army to liberate the region.

The source pointed out that the army seized two military vehicles, weapons and ammunition, left by the militias in the liberated areas
