Published: Updated:

Members of Syrian opposition factions attending the Sochi talks in Russia yelled over Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov’s speech, condemning Russia of supporting Assad’s regime.

Other members are heard yelling in response their thanks to Russia, which made Lavrov laugh as seen in the video. Other’s yelled condemning Russia of killing civilians with their air raids in Syria.

The yelling delegates are seen standing among the crowd, with security trying to urge them to sit down and keep calm while Lavrov’s speech was aired live.

Lavrov urged the delegates to take their seats and allow him to finish his speech.

“You will get the opportunity to speak later,” he said.

The conference was delayed several hours, and turned into a one-day affair as several members of opposition were not happy with the logistics, namely the Syrian regime’s flag being hung up at the venue.
