A delegation of Iraqi protesters met President of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Mohamed al-Halbousi on Saturday and presented their demands in the parliament.
A parliamentary session is scheduled to take place later the same day to discuss those demands.
Following the meeting, al-Halbousi said that he will raise the protesters’ demands to political blocs and the Iraqi government.
