There are reports of several mortars hitting the al-Kindi military base in northern Mosul, according to Al Arabiya’s correspondent.

The attacks came at the same time as several rockets fell on Saturday near the United States embassy in Baghdad’s heavily fortified Green Zone which houses government buildings and foreign missions but caused no casualties, the Iraqi military said.
