Denmark to close its Iraq embassy

Denmark will close down its embassy in Iraq on May 31, the Danish foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The diplomatic mission in Baghdad was formally opened in 2020 to support the Danish command over and contribution to the NATO Mission Iraq (NMI).
