Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season signs a deal with UFC, will sponsor Las Vegas event

Riyadh Season has signed an agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), opening up new opportunities for the coming season, including sponsoring fights in Las Vegas.

Saudi Arabia’s annual entertainment and sports festival, Riyadh Season, will sponsor a UFC fight at The Sphere in Las Vegas as part of the deal, Chairman of the Kingdom’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Turki Alalshikh told Al Arabiya.

“It’s an important agreement with one of the top entertainment and sports companies in the world, TKO,” the chairman told Al Arabiya. “It includes shows that will be coming to Saudi Arabia among the biggest in the world…. This is in addition to sponsoring a major event in Las Vegas at The Sphere under the name of Riyadh Season Card.”

He continued, “[This] will be one of the biggest events and at an iconic spot in Las Vegas to promote Riyadh Season and there will be a major partnership with Riyadh Season.”

The agreement also includes holding fights in the Riyadh Season 2024 in addition to hosting “Power Slap” competitions.”
