A Russian UTair passenger plane which requested an emergency landing at St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport has landed safely, a Russia aviation industry source told Reuters news agency on Wednesday.
The Boeing 737 plane was carrying 78 passengers plus crew
The source had said one engine on the plane had failed, while Russian air company UTair confirmed the request for an emergency landing by the plane at St Petersburg.
The plane made the landing at Pulkovo airport at around 12:25 p.m. (0925 GMT).
