Report: Saudi Dhaka-bound aircraft diverted to India due to medical emergency
A Saudi Airlines aircraft going to Dhaka in Bangladesh from Riyadh had to make an emergency landing due to a medical reason in Ahmedabad in India on Monday evening, local media reported.
The airplane landed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, according to the UNI India website.
The site quoted the airport’s director as saying that the full priority of landing was given to the aircraft as one of its passengers named Nazir Runa, 38, was unconscious onboard.
