France shooting leaves one person dead in Nice: Report

Police shot dead a man in the southern French city of Nice on Wednesday, as they sought to make arrests over an earlier, suspected murder case, the French prosecutor for Nice told local media.

Local paper Nice Matin earlier reported that One person was killed, and a man was being sought by police after a shooting occurred.

The local police force for Nice had confirmed that a police operation was underway.
