An earthquake of magnitude 5.5 struck Minahasa in Indonesia on Wednesday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said.

The quake was at a depth of 97 kilometers (60.27 miles) and the epicenter of the quake was at a distance of 28 kilometers south of Manado, Indonesia, the EMSC said.
