One killed, three wounded in Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Belgorod region

One man was killed and three people were wounded in the village of Rzhevka in Russia’s Belgorod region as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said on Thursday.

Belgorod is the Russian region that has come under the most frequent cross-border fire from Ukraine during the course of the war, and President Vladimir Putin has said Russia is working to carve out a “buffer zone” in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region to protect it.
