US embassy in Riyadh targeted by two drones, Saudi defense ministry says
The US embassy in Riyadh was targeted by two drones, the Saudi defense ministry said on Tuesday.

The attack caused a limited fire and minor damage to the building, the ministry said in a post on X.
The drone attack came amid ongoing Iranian missile and drone strikes on Gulf states, following US and Israeli strikes on Iran that began on Saturday.
US President Donald Trump told NewsNation that people will soon find out what the retaliation will be in response to the attack on the US embassy in Riyadh and the deaths of US military personnel during the Iran conflict, a reporter at the media outlet posted on X, citing an interview with him.
