Saudi Arabia’s al-Jadaan in Pakistan to meet Sharif

Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan visited Pakistan on Friday, meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s foreign minister and top military chief, according to a post from the Pakistani premier.

Shehbaz expressed appreciation for Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s “deep affection towards Pakistan” as well as for the Kingdom's longstanding economic and financial support to Pakistan over the years, he said.

Shehbaz's statement said that Saudi Arabia had played a vital role in Pakistan’s economic stability.

Islamabad is committed to expanding its cooperation with Saudi Arabia, particularly in trade, investment, and economic development, according to the statement.
