UK PM: Rioters to Feel Full Force of the Law

On August 9, British Prime Minister David Cameron that those responsible for the rioting damages and violence in the country would feel the full force of the British Legal System, and the number of police on the streets of London will triple.

David Cameron - British Prime Minister said, "And I have this very clear message to those people who are responsible for this wrongdoing and criminality - you will feel the full force of the law, and if you are old enough to commit these crimes, you are old enough to face the punishment. And to these people I would say this - you are not only wrecking the lives of others, you are not only wrecking your communities, you are potentially wrecking your own life too.

The British prime minister expressed his support to those affected by the violence of the riots.

David Cameron added, "I feel huge sympathy for the families who've suffered, innocent people who have been burned out of their houses and to businesses who have seen their premises smashed.”

The riots and violence first initiated on August 6 in Tottenham, a multi-ethnic neighborhood in north London; following the death of a man after police shot him two days earlier.

The violence then stretched to other areas of London on August 7 later to new districts on August 8. Liverpool, Birmingham and Bristol also broke out in Riots.

The prime minister has said 450 people have been arrested and more arrests will be expected.
