Tony Blair reminisces his time in office

In an interview with Al Arabiya, Tony Blair recounted his experiences during his tenure as Prime Minister of Britain.

He spoke of the time “the world was divided” during the Iraq war and the efforts of the international community to stop then President Saddam Hussein from “killing hundreds of thousands of people.”

Blair talked about the “interference” of world powers in the Iraqi war, and how it put pressure on the Middle East, Israel and Palestine to attempt to solve their political problems and work towards peace negotiations.

He also stressed on the importance of improving education standards for all British residents and said that people of all faiths were welcome in Britain.
