Sigurd Neubauer is a Non-Resident fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington where he specializes in U.S. policy towards the Arabian Peninsula and the Persian Gulf region. His expertise includes Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Persian Gulf security, inter-GCC dynamics; Arab-Israeli relations; and Afghanistan. Neubauer has been an Al Arabiya English contributor since early 2015 and his non-partisan expert analysis has also been published by Foreign Affairs, The New York Times, CNN and Fox News, among others.
