U.S. terminal operator launches monthly service to Middle East ports

A Large U.S. marine terminal operator announced a new terminal and stevedoring services to the Middle East, reported the Breaking Travel News.

Ports America, a large marine terminal operator and stevedore company operating in over 80 countries, will provide its services to Liberty Global Logistics (LGL), said the news source.

LGL is an American transportation and logistics company that transports cargo between the U.S. and international destinations. It launched a new monthly service of vehicles from Rhode Island to the Middle East, reported the Automotive Logistics Magazine.

The LGL service will begin on July 27 from Rhode Island on the U.S. east coast to Middle East ports, including those in Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, Iraq and Kuwait, said the magazine.

Around 300 used vehicles will be initially utilized for the Middle East service, but the business is expected to grow quickly, according to the Breaking News Travel.
