World Bank officials revealed that an aid plan for Egypt is in progress and will be proposed within the coming period, according to World Bank officials, reported state-run Ahram news website.
Egypt’s investment minister, Osama Saleh, met with a delegation from the World Bank to discuss the plan which aims at providing much needed technical assistance for the troubled country, added the report.
The World Bank Group issued a statement on Egypt in July saying: “We encourage all parties to embrace healthy economic management with a view of establishing sound inclusive governance with the participation of all of Egypt's voices.”
