Saudization: Disabled staff count for more than one in kingdom

A special needs Saudi national can be counted as more than one staff in the Nitaqat Saudization program if he obtains an identity card from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Labor or any other pertinent authority showing the type and degree of disability and if the functions and nature of the job suits the type and degree of disability.

The Ministry of Labor placed this draft decision on the “Ma3an Nuhassin” (Together we improve) Gate on employing the special needs Saudis. It invited observations and suggestions online until Dec. 15, 2014. The ministry has used sign language on a video for the draft decision.
