Kuwait has the largest number of Saudi workers out of the five neighboring Gulf Cooperation Council countries, according to a report by the Saudi Pension Fund for 2014.

About 83 percent of Saudis working in these countries are in Kuwait, the report said. It said the total number of Saudis working in GCC countries is 4,587, and 3,810 of them are in Kuwait.

The report did not specify if Saudi women were included in the figures. According to the report, the United Arab Emirates occupies second place with 393 Saudis, followed by Qatar with 332 and Bahrain with 43.

The report said there are only nine Saudis working in Oman. According to the report, Saudis in these countries and their employers pay regular contributions to the fund.

It said employers would pay contributions based on their respective country’s rules.
