Six Flags says it started talks with Saudi to build theme parks in kingdom

The US-based Six Flags Entertainment Corp has announced on Tuesday that it started talks with the Saudi government to develop and create parks in the kingdom.

The talks followed a meeting between Six Flags and Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his recent visit to the United States.

John Duffey, CEO of Six Flags Entertainment, said his company is “happy” that it will enter the Saudi market.

He added: “We look forward to support Saudi efforts in expanding its tourism sector by creating activities that will make the kingdom a destination for those looking for entertainment.”

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is the world’s largest regional theme park company with $1.3 billion in revenue and 18 parks across the United States, Mexico and Canada
