Saudi crown prince, Egypt’s Sisi oversee signing of three deals, investment MoUs
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Egypt President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on Sunday oversaw the signing of three agreements and investment Memorandums of Understandings between the two countries in a number of fields.
The agreements covered cooperation in the field of environmental protection and pollution reduction; amendment of the agreement to establish a Saudi-Egyptian fund for investment between the Public Investment Fund in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation in the Arab Republic of Egypt; a memorandum of understanding on the activation of the Saudi Egyptian Investment Fund between the Public Investment Fund in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation in the Arab Republic of Egypt; an executive program for joint cooperation to encourage investment between the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the General Authority for Investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Later, Sisi held a dinner in honor of the Saudi crown prince and his accompanying delegation.
What to expect during Saudi crown prince’s visit to Egypt
Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to Cairo comes ahead of a scheduled trip to Britain on Wednesday for talks with Prime Minister Theresa May and the United States from March 19-22.
