Iraq Basra oil exports restored to 2.4 mln bpd

Bad weather cut exports to 768,000 bpd on Sunday

Oil exports from Iraq's southern Basra terminals were restored to 2.4 million barrels per day (bpd) on Monday after bad weather cleared, a shipping source said.

Bad weather had cut exports to 768,000 bpd on Sunday and1.75 million bpd on Saturday.

"Weather is clear today. Loading operations are going on normally," the source said. Iraq exports the bulk of its crude from southern ports on the Gulf.
