Turkey close to Iraqi crude oil deals with new firms: minister
Yildiz spoke on the sidelines of a Turkish presentation of the World Energy Outlook 2014
Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said on Monday that Turkey was close to reaching agreements on Iraqi crude oil with new companies ahead of a visit next week by senior Iraqi officials.
It was not immediately clear what sort of agreements Turkey was seeking. Yildiz was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a Turkish presentation of the World Energy Outlook 2014.
