The pipeline had been closed due to damage caused by theft

Pumping of oil along Iraqi Kurdistan’s pipeline carrying crude to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan resumed on Friday night, following a closure due to damage caused by theft, a Turkish official said.

The pipeline, which has recently been pumping around 450,000 barrels per day (bpd), had been out of action since Monday for repairs, but was now operational again according to a senior official from Turkey’s state pipeline operator, Botas.
