Oman Oil Co’s Oman Gas unit has signed five agreements with Gulf Energy Development to build the Duqm power and water plant, state news agency ONA reported on Saturday.
The plant will have an installed production capacity of 326 megawatt of electricity and 36,000 cubic meters per day of water, with investments estimated at $480 million, QNA said.
It is expected to start operating in 2020.
