Yemen’s Aden refinery is seeking 90,000 tons of oil products in a tender to address a deficit in electricity generation, state news agency SABA said on Saturday.
The refinery is seeking 60,000 tons of diesel and 30,000 tons of heavy fuel oil mazut for power plants in Aden as fuel supplies run low because of Yemen’s four-year-old civil war.
It stipulated that bids should be presented in US dollars by local companies, with a deadline of March 19.
