Dubai developer awards $96 mln contract to build new mall
The project award brings DSI's total backlog to 2.43 billion dirhams ($661.66 million) to date this year
A unit of Drake and Scull (DSI) has been awarded a 353 million dirham ($96.12 million) contract to build a new mall in Dubai, DSI said in a statement on Wednesday.
Gulf Technical Construction Company, a unit of DSI, has been awarded by Dubai developer Nakheel to build the Circle Mall at Juemirah Village Circle in Dubai, the statement said.
The project award brings DSI's total backlog to 2.43 billion dirhams ($661.66 million) to date this year, Dubai's second biggest contractor by market value, said.
