Long-awaited Apple Watch to be released in April
The Apple Watch is considered the first major new product since the debut of iPad
Apple’s long-awaited smart watch will begin shipping in April, the company’s CEO revealed Tuesday.
The Apple Watch is considered the first major new product since the debut of iPad tablet in 2010. Apple says the watch is its "most personal device ever."
Apple CEO Tim Cook made the announcement during a meeting to discuss the company’s earnings for the first fiscal quarter of 2015.
The company said earlier in September that the device will be out “in early 2015.”
Prices mentioned back then suggested it will start at $349 and come in a variety of styles and colors.
