Only two days before the iPhone 8’s official release, a leak on Saturday revealed that Apple has another device in store, the iPhone X.
The news first appeared on an Apple news website 9to5Mac, claiming that the iPhone X will be revealed on Tuesday alongside the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, reported The Guardian.
The phone is rumored to be priced at $1,000.

While recent news suggests the release date may be pushed back due to production malfunctions, this launch will be Apple’s 10-year anniversary to their goldmine, the iPhone.
According to the report, the devices’ new names were initially tweeted by a game developer Steven Troughton-Smith, using a software code.
The breakdown
The iPhone 8 will be a slight change from its predecessor, the iPhone 7. It will feature glass black panels, a new micro-processing chip and wireless inductive charging, according to the 9to5Mac website.
However, the iPhone X holds a lot more change in store. It is rumored that the phone will no longer host the home button, controlling the phone will be done using gestures and the old LCD screen will be replaced with a high-definition OLED screen.
It is also rumored that the device’s edges have been stretched.
