Dubai has unveiled plans for a "mega mall" which aims to be the largest leasable retail space in the world.
According to CNN, the $2 billion project, based in the Dubai Creek Harbour, will be twice the size of Dubai Mall, currently the largest mall in the Middle East.
The 8 million square feet of retail space will be able to host shows and concerts on a stage with 3D projection mapping. It will offer customers with a cinema, water park and sports arena for entertainment.
According to Emaar Properties, which is developing the Dubai Creek Harbour in a joint venture with Dubai Holding, this project is mainly targeting millennials and tech-savvy younger generations.
