Coronavirus: Canadian couple makes $100,000 reselling wipes 4 times their price
A Canadian couple has made more than $100,000 by buying disinfecting wipes and reselling them to companies and individuals online for as much as four times their price, as people rush to buy sanitizing products amid the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

In an interview with the Toronto Star, Manny Ranga and Violeta Perez said that for several weeks they have been driving to every Costco store in Vancouver and buying Lysol wipes in bulk.
The idea to resell the wipes came to the self-described “hustlers” when a woman offered to buy hand sanitizers from them for double the price.
Online retailers have drastically increased the price of products, such as sanitizers and masks. Several countries have imposed measures to ensure that retailers do not increase the price of products commonly purchased to prevent the virus from spreading.
Around the world, more than 145,000 people have been infected and over 5,000 have died. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the virus a global pandemic on Wednesday.
