Coronavirus: Qatar announces 643 new cases in similar rise, total now over 12,000
Qatar announced 643 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in the country above 12,000 to 12,564, according to the Ministry of Public Health on Twitter.
The total of 12,564 includes the 10 people who have been killed by coronavirus and the 1,243 who have recovered, including a further 109 recoveries over the last 24 hours.
The Ministry announced that a total of 91,415 people had been tested for the virus.
