Cases rise despite curfew
On Monday, Kuwaiti authorities announced that they would not be extending the country's 24-hour curfew beyond its deadline on May 30.
Instead, a partial curfew will be introduced as part of a plan to gradually return to normalcy.
Kuwait had imposed a 24-hour curfew on May 10 aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
However, cases have continued to climb throughout the period that the curfew was imposed.
