Kuwait reported on Sunday two coronavirus-related deaths and 571 infections, bringing the death toll to 515 and the total number of registered cases to 80,528.
The Gulf country also reported 537 recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 72,307.

The total number of active cases in Kuwait is 7,706, 97 of whom are serious cases in intensive care units.
The country has conducted 2,443 coronavirus tests in the past 24 hours, bringing the testing toal to 587,567.
