Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia confirms 1,114 new COVID-19 cases, 31 deaths

Saudi Arabia has confirmed 1,114 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 309,768 on Tuesday, the health ministry announced.

The city of Mecca saw the highest increase with 74 new cases, Jazan had 56 and Jeddah recorded 54 new infections.

The death toll climbed to 3,722 after 31 people died due to COVID-19 complications, according to the health ministry.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries reached 283,932 after 31 individuals who had previously tested positive for the virus recovered.
