Coronavirus: Kuwait confirms 857 COVID-19 cases, two deaths

Kuwait has confirmed 857 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 91,244, the health ministry announced on Tuesday.

The ministry also confirmed two new COVID-19 related deaths, raising the death toll to 548.

Meanwhile, an additional 617 individuals who had previously tested positive for the virus recovered, raising the total number of recoveries 81,654.
Health authorities continue with their testing efforts having conducted 5,048 tests over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of tests to 653,099.

There remains 9,042 active cases in Kuwait with 89 in critical condition, according to the health ministry.
