Saudi Arabia on Monday recorded 357 new coronavirus cases and 17 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 345,232.
The death toll rose to 5,313.

The Kingdom also reported 361 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 331,691.

The city of Medina recorded the highest number of daily cases in the country, with 61 reported on Monday.
Riyadh, the capital, had reported 36 new COVID-19 cases, while Mecca had 32 new cases.
The Ministry of Health said there were 8,228 active cases in Saudi Arabia. The number of critical cases was 784.
The current levels of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia do not necessitate reinstating a curfew in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Mohammad al-Abdulaali said on Sunday.
