The UAE on Tuesday reported 1,008 new coronavirus cases and six deaths, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM).
This brings the total number of cases to 136,149, while the death toll rose to 503.

The country also detected 1,466 new recoveries, bringing the total to 133,490 recoveries.

WAM reported that the UAE had conducted 96,994 coronavirus tests on Tuesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received a coronavirus vaccine, according to a post by the sheikh on Twitter.
