Coronavirus: UAE reports 1,146 new COVID-19 cases, 668 recoveries
The United Arab Emirates on Monday reported 1,146 new COVID-19 cases and 668 recoveries over the past 24 hours, according to the NCEMA.

The new cases were detected after 85,643 new coronavirus tests were conducted throughout the UAE.
Despite an increase in cases which have reached 143,289, according to the official WAM news agency, the death toll remains low with 515 fatalities and one new death reported over the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in the country has reached 148,959 as of November 9, WAM reported.
The health ministry continued to urge people to adhere to preventative measures, including social distancing protocols and wearing masks in order to slow the spread of the virus.
