Shocking video: Ghouta civilians receive aid if they pledge allegiance to Assad

A shocking video, reportedly emerging from Syria’s Ghouta, has shown an official in the Syrian regime’s parliament handing out aid packages to civilians, demanding that they cheer for President Bashar al-Assad and acknowledge him as their leader.

The video stirred outrage among many viewers. Some referred to the incident as “disgusting and humiliating.”

The MP, Mohammed Qaband, can be seen handing out packages containing nutritional material from a medium-sized transport vehicle.
